In conjunction with Dorchester School Districts 2 & 4, the Dorchester County Career & Technology Center will again offer core academic courses (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) on our Dorchester campus. Our first year with academics on campus was both a challenging and successful year. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are having difficulties in reaching their academic and career potential in a large school setting to receive academic credit as well as hands-on experience in a career focused environment. While on our campus, students will be able to integrate academic and career skills, personalizing education to each student's unique needs.
If your child is interested in taking advantage of this educational opportunity, please plan to attend one of our All Day Academic Program Registration nights on Thursday, August 7 or Tuesday, August 12 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Forms may be completed during registration, mailed to DCCTC, 507 School House Road, Dorchester, SC 29437, or faxed to (843) 563-9038.
